Ann Salyer-Caldwell retired as the deputy director at Tarrant County Public Health in 2020. She holds a BS degree in Dietetics from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Public Health degree from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She is a registered dietitian and a retired US Navy Captain with over 39 years of public health experience. Ms. Salyer-Caldwell has served on many community boards and was selected as a Healthcare Hero by the Fort Worth Business Press in 2018. In addition to proudly serving ICTC, she is a Meals on Wheels volunteer and a member of the Board of Directors for the Open Arms Health Clinic in Arlington.
